Welcome Home to your own little villa on the hill. Uncork your newest find, a special bottle of wine that you tasted with the winemaker at a local winery; relax on your deck or expansive private patio with fantastic views. Watch the setting sun cast golden light on Mt. St. Helena. Do this from a fantastic deluxe spa hot tub with over 40 jets, waterfall, foot massage, or enjoy the views from almost anywhere around the house. Enjoy your 23 acres of meadows, rolling hills and forests. Celebrate wine country right here, dining al-fresco with your gas BBQ grill. This is paradise, the golden high ground between two wine valleys. Drive down the hill in 7 minutes to the charming Town of Calistoga that has everything you need, including shops, restaurants and several world-famous and family owned wineries.

Outside:
Installed on May 5, 2008 - new deluxe spa hot tub with over 40 jets, waterfall, foot massage, volcano jet, and facing gorgeous sunset views over the mountains. Also new redwood gazebo. Metal roof and side bar coming this fall.

Large Private Patio for grilling on the gas BBQ (connected to main line, so it never runs out), dining, sipping wine, and relaxing with beautiful mountain views. Private acres of hills and meadows with oak and manzanita trees. Front orchard has figs, olives, almonds, walnuts and dozens of other fruit and nut trees.

Inside:
Wood floors in the main bedroom with king-size bed. A queen-size bed is in the smaller bedroom. Open the sliding-glass door from the master bedroom and watch the stars at night or enjoy breakfast on the deck, where you can see the natural frog pond. Marble-tiled bathroom with roman shower. Available in-cottage spa services include massages or personal chef (trained at French Laundry)!

Forests are framed from every window.

Roomy Living room & Dining area with ceiling fans.

Living room has wooden floors, couch, and lots of entertainment, such as DVD, Satellite TV (TIVO)with over a dozen premium movie channels (Starz/Encore), XM Digital Radio, Stereo system, small DVD library. Romantic wood-burning fireplace (some firewood usually available, but is always available in town).

Fully-Equipped Kitchen:

What a view from the professional-styled kitchen! Quartz counter tops; travertine marble floors, maple cabinets with glass doors. Everything is here for any meal you might conceive while in wine country.

Coffee maker, blender, pots and pans.
Five-burner Gas stove, oven, microwave, toaster oven.
Full-size refrigerator.
Plenty of condiments, spices, extra virgin olive oil & balsamic vinegar. Provided on arrival: cereal, coffee, tea, orange juice, pastries, chocolate.

Other comments:

Laundry room with washer & dryer, ironing equipment.
Lots of parking space, lots of space everywhere.

Second bedroom is small (10x12), so consider this for your traveling partners.

This home does not have A/C. However, summer low temps are 50-60, and there are huge trees shading the south and west sides, and the hilltop gets great breezes. Managing windows and blinds have worked 99% of the time over the past 5 years (when we have lived there ourselves).

Some Rules: No Smoking. No pets. Not advised for kids (deck has no railing, neither does the rock wall). Hot tub is not for kids.
